Carmel Catholic High School in the USA creates engaging, interactive classes with Google tools
Technology was in place at the high school, but students had limited access and applications didn’t integrate well with hardware. Carmel Catholic decided to pursue a 1:1 device program in part for the role it could play in the school’s broader effort to facilitate the cultivation of instructional best practices that best serve the students’ learning needs.
'It’s so easy to add a video or a slide to Classroom that helps explain what I’m teaching. It makes everyone’s life easier.'
Carmel Catholic High School purchased 1,400 Chromebooks, and also began using G Suite for Education and Classroom. Every student received an email address so they could communicate with teachers and also use Classroom to keep lessons and homework in one place.
